About Varietal Wine Roditis
Roditis is the second most cultivated grape variety in Greece. Although it is red colored variety, it produces white wines of exceptional quality.
This wine has fruity characteristics of green and tropical fruits. It has a full body with medium acidity when the grapes come from lowland vineyards, while when the variety is cultivated in cooler climates (mountainous vineyards), the acidity reaches higher levels.

Our vineyards planted between mountains, combine low temperatures, ample sunlight and soils most suitable for viticulture.
The Roditis variety, providing wines that are round, charming and full of freshness. Dry, with moderate aromatic intensity, with notes of melon and pear.
Excellent with seafood, fish, and salads.

The Roditis variety, one of the most widespread white varieties in Greece, is cultivated and harvested through carefully controlled processes. In the modern production line, the grapes are transported immediately after harvest to the winery, where they pass through a destemmer and a light crushing in order to release the must. They are then transferred to a rotating horizontal fermenter, which ensures gentle stirring, uniform extraction, and better temperature control, preserving the freshness and characteristic aromas of the variety.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature, so that the citrus and fresh fruit aromas of Roditis can be highlighted. After fermentation, the wine is stabilized and filtered before being bottled through fully automated procedures that guarantee quality and hygiene. The final result is a white wine with a refreshing character and balance, ready to reach the consumer with consistent quality.
