A key parameter of the quality of the raw material is the cultivated variety. The Roditis variety, precisely because it has been continuously cultivated from antiquity to the present day, has adapted to the environment and Mediterranean conditions.

Other factors influencing the quality of the grape include:

• The age of the vine

• The climate of the region and the microclimate of the vineyard

• Weather conditions. Mediterranean, and especially Greek weather conditions—with mild winters and warm summers—play a significant role in the quality of the Roditis grape and in the quality of the produced Varietal Roditis Wine

• The soil

• Diseases and natural enemies. Thanks to the integrated management systems applied, the produced product meets high standards

• The method of cultivation and harvesting

• The terroir
